yeah, I think is so easy for us to want to make people cheerful and singing all the time (which is a great thing) versus allowing people just to verbalize their situation and allow them to voice their cry out to God. Obviously the problem with voicing our cries is that they often don't turn one towards God, but deepens us towards more anger and bitterness and self-pity. The themes in the Psalms: cry out, turn to God and proclaim God's goodness. I'm glad to see that the verses in the newer blog creates a drawing near to God.
